2D Week 2: Project 1 Compositions



In A Stream of Bubbles, the circles move downward. There is negative space between the series of bubbles. The purpose was to make the viewer feel like they are underwater.
 
In At the Ballgame, there is a symmetrical balance on either side of the composition. The circles and triangles are to represent different teams. The purpose is to fill the viewer with excitement as they are watching a ballgame.
In Surreal Sunday, the triangles on the top form a triangular line. The focal point is the tall building. The purpose is to fill the viewer with an intense aura.


 In Divine Intervention, the church is the focal point. There is an asymmetrical balance with the triangles. The purpose is to give the viewer a sense of peace amid chaos.
In The Center of the Universe, the circles form unity to represent the planets. The big circle in the middle represents the sun. The purpose is to fill the viewer with curiosity as if they are looking at the planets in outer space.
