Colors and Hues
I made this piece using GIMP. First, I drew the lines. Second, I colored the picture using the paint bucket tool. Third, I added the patterns using the same paint bucket tool. Finally, I colorized the picture to make the picture look green.
The predominant color that I used is green. There are different shades of green seen in this piece. The lighter shades of green are seen on the walls, poles and my avatar's fur. The darker shades of green are seen on my avatar's hair and shirt. The only instance where the color black is present is on my avatar's nose. There are also organic lines on my character. The line poles have a sense of repetition, as they are repeated, and they also have a symmetrical balance.
The piece that I made, See Me at the Museum in Green, is based on my experience at the Beverly Art Walk. The color green is to represent that good times I have had when I was participating at the Beverly Art Walk. Looking at this picture, I felt a sense of happiness. In addition, making this picture makes me reflect on how much fun I had when I was at the Beverly Art Center during the Beverly Art Walk. This picture will fill viewers with a sense of calm and enjoyment, knowing that being at a museum can be a fun and memorable experience.
