Idiom Project Progress: Colored

First, I created three additional art boards for the project. Then I chose the color schemes from the color wheel. Then I fixed some of the drawings so that I would color the picture. Finally, I added the color scheme in each drawing using the fill tool followed by the swatch tool. I have chosen these colors to help emphasize the sleepiness of the cat in these drawings for my project.
After receiving some constructive criticism last Thursday, I have decided to make a few changes. I added some color to the background in order to have pure white backgrounds for this project. Then, I made a few adjustments to my character's legs and feet as much as possible to make him look more relaxed. I also made a few color adjustments to make the items look more noticeable in the project. As I stated before, the purpose of giving colors to the Idiom project was to emphasize the feeling of sleepiness in the artwork.

For this composition, I chose circles as my shapes. After I drew the circles with my pencil, I used scissors to cut out the circles. I then used a glue stick to stick the circles onto my Bristol paper. The composition is called A Stream of Bubbles . The direction of the bubbles is diagonal. There are negative spaces surround the bubbles. I chose this technique to give the viewer an impression to imagine themselves underwater. What I was going for in this piece is to have the circles represent water in order to make the viewer feel like they are breathing underwater. I repeated the same technique I used for my first composition using the pencil, scissors, Bristol paper, and glue stick. I also used a ruler to measure the shapes to make sure they are the exact same size. This time, the shapes are pentagons, circles, squares, octagons, and triangles. Adventures of Tony the Yorkie Silky

I made these drawings with pen on paper. First, I went crazy with the scribbles. Second, I draw my avatar in the scribble-like scenery. Finally, I've added some more detail to the scenery. The color for these drawings is monochrome. The cross hatchings of the lines in each drawing are for making the objects darker in appearance. My avatar is drawn with organic lines. The village has a symmetrical balance since it is divided by the valley. The texture for the grass in the third drawing is soft. The purpose of this series of drawings, Adventures of Tony the Yorkie Silky , is to introduce the viewers to my avatar, Tony the Yorkie Silky. In the first drawing, My Life with the Monster , Tony is tormented by an evil entity, which represents my life of torment I have endured under my sister.
