Art of Anthony Rigoni(Tony Yorkie Silky)

For these projects, I made them with Photoshop. In the left picture, I colored the shower curtain to make it look green. I cut out the shell from the tile floor picture and colored it blue. Then I enlarged it to make ti the focal point of the artwork. This piece is called Underwater at Night. The texture is emphasized in the wet, sandy feeling of the ocean floor. For the artwork on the right, I colored the picture of the wall red. Then I used color burn to make the picture of the wall blend in with the picture of the countertop. I then added the picture of the couch cloth and then blended it in the two pictures using color blend. This artwork is called The Spot of the Sun . The texture of this artwork represents the burning flames and the scorching temperatures of the sun.

I made these projects using Adobe Photoshop. The first painting, We'll be Safer in Here , is a contrast of warm against cold and the texture of the "worms" is soft. The second painting, A Static Dimension, emphasizes on the combination of light and darker textures. The last painting, Omens , uses surrealistic colors and textures to represent the good and bad omens.

These are the textures I have found around my house when I took photos using Adobe Photoshop Mix. The tenth photo has a wooden texture. The first, second, fourth, and eighth photos have soft texture. This is a composition I made called World Within Worlds . The monochromatic color is a representation of reflecting on one's memory. The photo in the middle has a hard, wet texture while the outer photos have softer texture. This is a composition I made called The Islands in the Ocean . I took fifth photo and give it a blue shading. This layer is suppose to simulate the wet texture as the ocean is making waves. I also used the ninth photo and cut parts of it out to make it look like islands. I also used warm colors for those three pieces of the eighth photo. Finally, I cut out a portion of the third photo and gave it cool colors. While that piece has a smooth texture to make it look like it is covered with snow, the other pieces have rocky texture ...

These are temporary patterns. Here is the final pattern. Tiles in this pattern combine warm and cool patterns. The inner patterns feel like a warm breeze while the outer patterns feel cold.

I created these patterns using colored pencils. The colors for the first set are Triad Colors. The shapes are triangular. The colors for the second set are warm colors. They contain geometric shapes. The colors for the third set are triad colors. The outer shapes are organic. The colors for the last set are cool colors. The shapes are organic.

I started the project by using a pencil to draw patterns. The patterns include curly lines, wavy lines, zigzag lines, and straight lines. I have used a ruler to make organized line designs. I also use a pencil to draw the designs. The shapes are circles, squares and triangles.

The techniques I used for this art piece is cross-hatching, scribbling, and shading. I used pencils to make the values of this piece. I used a ruler to draw the vertical and horizontal border lines in this piece. The gradience of the drawing go from black to white and visa versa.

For this project, I used a ruler, a Bristol Board, and pencils. First, I used a ruler to draw the horizontal and vertical lines. Then I used a pencil to draw the values of this artwork. The rules of value that I have used are cross-hatching, shading, and scribbling. The scribbling forms a fuzzy texture. The color for this piece is achromatic. The shading forms a soft texture. The gradient starts off white and finished to black lines.

 For this piece, I have applied the contrasts, overlap, and gradient spatial cues. I used different sizes of pencils to make this artwork. The colors I have used are black, gray and white. For the gradients, the trees closer to the viewer are darker while the castle behind the trees is lighter. In addition, the grass becomes darker when it is closer to the viewer. For the overlap the trees that are closer to the viewer's point of view are larger than the castle. For the contrast, I have applied this to the grass and the sky. The contrast in the sky represents how light the scenery is during the day. This is the reference image I have used to make my depths project. After receiving some advice, I redid the composition. I removed the building and added a tree. I also made the castle look more visible. Finally, I made the plants darker.

. For this piece, the lines are mechanical. I gave the shapes a rectangular look. The balance for the composition is symmetrical. The piece I created is called Gears in Motion . The purpose of this piece is to create an illusion to confuse the viewer. While the viewer is looking at the figure, which are the black shapes, they might also be looking at the white background, which is the ground.

What I like about Dean Byington's The Black Sun is the monochromatic color scheme. The different shades indicate the detail of the landscape. It also takes advantage of the vertical perspective. It almost resembles the style used in Chinese paintings. Philippe Decrauzat's Flag Wave creates the illusion of a waving flag. Its solid, curvy lines start apart at the beginning of each side of the composition. The lines come together to make the viewer look like they are seeing a real flag waving in the wind. John Santoro's Beach: Winter Morning and Beach: Summer uses thick paint lines to simulate life by the seashore. The cooler colors used for the water give the viewer a sense of rest and relaxation. The thick lines are noticeable in Summer: Beach because it makes the viewer feel like they are getting wet at the beach. Hiroshi Senju's Waterfall uses a greyscale color scheme to give a sense of nostalgia. The soft lines represent the soft, wet texture...
